GP Appointments

Our appointment system allows quick and easy access to a doctor. You will not be refused a consultation with a GP.

  1. You contact the surgery anytime between 8.00am and 5.30pm, Monday - Friday, no need to call or queue at 8.00am.
  2. Receptionist will check your contact details.
  3. You will be contacted by a GP, who in consultation with you, will decide on the best treatment for you. If necessary you may be asked to come in to see the doctor.
  4. There will be exceptions for people with Learning Diffciculties, Deaf, Language difficulties and anyone who does not have a telephone. (They will still be able to book appointments as usual through the reception.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Our nurses offer a range of clinics and services, details of which can be found on the relevant page of this website.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible (0161 498 8484) in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will be asked to take a seat whilst the receptionist speaks with the relevant clinician.
